The Marshmallow Awards Current Nominations

Marshmallow Award Nominee # 1:

Our first nominee for The Marshmallow Award is Judge Edward Cashman in Vermont.  From an article by WCAX TV in Vermont:

"There was outrage Wednesday when a Vermont judge handed out a 60-day jail sentence to a man who raped a little girl many,many times over a four-year span starting when she was seven."

Judge Coughenour sentenced Ahmed Ressam to only 22 years for attempting to transport a carload of explosives to California so that he could blow up LAX in the name of  al-Qaida.  Ressam could be released at age 51 so that he would be able to join his buddies to try to blow up Americans and innocent people again.  The whole story from The Monterey Herald.
